The international transportation of dangerous goods is regulated with UN recommendations on transport of dangerous goods which aim to prevent possible accidents and consequent problems as well as to minimize the environmental effects. The UN regulations require 6 tests; Top Lift Test, Drop Test, Topple Test, Righting Test, Stacking Test and Tear Test.

There are 4 types of FIBCs for dangerous goods made from woven plastics;

13H2   Woven plastics, coated and without liner

13H3   Woven plastics, uncoated and with liner

13H4   Woven plastics, coated and with liner
